Parkway provides
lightweight, high
performance composite
structures to support
the global aerospace &
defense industry. By
bringing together world
class manufacturing processes, international
production sites and in-depth knowledge
of cutting-edge materials, Parkway can
supply composite structures and assemblies
to global commercial and military OEMs.
Parkway Aerospace & Defense's composite processing capabilities include hand-lay up, vacuum bag processing, autoclave processing, resin transfer and compression molding, and clean-room bonding. Parkway's Erlanger, Kentucky and Saltillo, Mexico facilities both are ISO9001, AS9100 and NADCAP AS7003 certified and both have complete ranges of composite processing capabilities, including autoclave curing and clean room bonding and assembly.
Resin Transfer Molding
Resin transfer molding is an ideal process for lightweight structural components requiring advanced fiber reinforcement. Parkway Aerospace & Defense has RTM operations in both the United States and Mexico capable of resin transfer molding traditionally difficult materials including high temperature epoxies and carbon fiber braids/sleeves/socks.
